Management after surgical procedures:
- after surgery, it is inadvisable to eat until the anaesthetic symptoms have subsided;
- on the day of the treatment, do not consume hot or warm food or drinks;
- swelling and pain may occur after surgery, in which case the following should alleviate the discomfort: antibiotic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs prescribed by the doctor and the use of cold compresses;
- A semi-liquid diet is recommended for approximately 3 days after the procedure.
