Graduate of BA and MA studies in speech therapy and special education at the Academy of Special Education in Warsaw and postgraduate studies in clinical neurology with early speech therapy intervention at the Piastów Śląskich Medical University in Wrocław.
Certified orthognathic speech therapist.
At the ODENT Medical Centre, he is involved in speech and orthognathic therapy for patients :
- with abnormal occlusion (support of orthodontic treatment),
- with impaired primitive functions such as breathing, swallowing, chewing, biting)
- with an abnormal resting position of the tongue and lips,
- with a shortened frenulum of the tongue or upper lip (preparation and aftercare)
- Before, during and after orthodontic treatment or orthognathic surgery,
-with dysfunctions such as mouth breathing,
-with parafunctions such as thumb sucking, cheek or lip biting,
-with abnormal vocalisation,
-with abnormal muscle tone in the head and face.
In her work, she uses various therapy methods adapted to the patient's needs, including :
- manual therapy,
- myofunctional therapy,
- kinesiotaping,
- ENMOT electrostimulation,
- PNF therapy.
She is constantly expanding her knowledge by taking part in courses and workshops. Her professional interests lie in the field of dental speech therapy and myofunctional therapy aimed at improving the muscles of the speech apparatus and primitive functions (training certificates below).
