Profhilo is an innovative preparation of aesthetic medicine, using stabilised hybrid complexes of hyaluronic acid (L-HA + H-HA) in very high concentrations - thanks to which it acts not only as a 'filler', but above all as a tissue stimulator - activating skin regeneration processes, strengthening its scaffolding, improving its elasticity and firmness.
Unlike traditional fillers, Profhilo does not change the volume of the tissues or widen the facial features, but instead slims and shapes them by remodelling the skin from within. The procedure usually takes about 30 minutes and does not require anaesthesia. The product is injected into specific anatomical points - a five-point Bio-Aesthetic Points (BAP) technique is used on the face - which ensures optimal diffusion of the product. After the treatment, it is possible to return to daily activities almost immediately - convalescence is minimal.

Course
treatment
Let’s start with the fact that laser peeling does not require anesthesia. The first stage that should be carried out before its execution is thorough cleaning of the area where the treatment will take place.
In the next phase, the doctor protects the Patient’s eyes with protective glasses and starts the treatment procedure on the indicated area.
Effects

Effects visible after the first treatment, full effect usually after a series of 2 treatments about 30 days apart. They last for up to 12 to 18 months (depending on individual factors).
Indications
The treatment is recommended for, among others:
- flaccid skin, losing firmness / elasticity
- loss of facial oval, drooping mandibular contour
- loss of skin density, change in skin texture, dull skin tone
- also in the neck, décolleté and hand areas - if the skin of these areas requires regeneration.
Contraindications
- pregnancy and lactation,
- active skin infections (e.g. herpes, inflammation, suppurative acne),
- autoimmune diseases or cancer,
- allergy to hyaluronic acid or other components of the preparation,
- blood clotting disorders and taking anticoagulants,
- fresh aesthetic medicine treatments in the same area (e.g. laser, peelings, fillers) - keep the interval according to your doctor's instructions.

1. is Profhilo the same as filler?
No. Profhilo does not act like a classic filler - it does not increase tissue volume, but stimulates the skin to regenerate and remodel collagen and elastin. As a result, it improves firmness and tone, but without altering facial features.
2 When do you see the first effects of the Profhilo treatment?
The skin starts to look better after just a few days - it becomes tighter and more hydrated. The full effect is usually visible after 2-3 weeks, and a second treatment after about a month is recommended to consolidate the results.
3 How long do the effects of Profhilo last?
The effects last an average of 12 to 18 months, depending on skin condition, lifestyle and care. To maintain the results, a booster treatment can be performed once or twice a year.
