Zaffiro thermolifting uses high-energy infrared (IR) radiation with a wavelength of approx. 750-1800 nm, which, through a sapphire glass head, heats the deeper layers of the skin to a temperature of approx. 65 °C, while cooling the epidermis. As a result, collagen fibres contract and fibroblasts are stimulated to produce new fibres, leading to skin thickening, improved tone and structure. The treatment is non-invasive, does not require anaesthesia and allows you to return to your normal activities almost immediately.

Course
treatment
The procedure usually lasts between 30 and 60 minutes (depending on the area). The process begins with cleansing the skin, which prepares it for thermolifting. Next, the head heats the deeper layers of the skin, followed by a cooling phase of the epidermis – this ensures comfort during the procedure and minimises discomfort. After the treatment, you can return to your daily activities almost immediately – the skin may be slightly reddened, which usually subsides within a few hours or a maximum of 1-2 days.

Indications
The treatment is recommended for, among others:

Contraindications
- active skin infections (e.g. herpes, inflammation, suppurative acne),
- autoimmune diseases or cancer,
- allergy to hyaluronic acid or other components of the preparation,
- blood clotting disorders and taking anticoagulants,
- fresh aesthetic medicine treatments in the same area (e.g. laser, peelings, fillers) - keep the interval according to your doctor's instructions.

1. Is Zaffiro thermolifting painful and how long does the recovery take?
The treatment is largely comfortable — the patient may feel warmth and a temporary sensation of heat/coolness, but it does not require anaesthesia. The skin may be slightly reddened after the treatment, but you can resume your normal activities almost immediately.
2. How many Zaffiro treatments are needed to see results, and when will they appear?
The first effects are often noticeable after just one treatment, e.g. improvement in the oval of the face or a slight lift. However, for the full effect, a series of 4-6 treatments at intervals of about one month is recommended. The final results usually appear after 3-6 months, when collagen remodelling takes place.
3. Can I have a Zaffiro treatment in summer or if my skin has recently been tanned?
Yes — one of the advantages of Zaffiro technology is that the treatment can also be performed during the summer months and on skin that has recently been tanned, as it does not remove the epidermis and works inside the dermis.
